This file describes issues that may affect the use of this product.
* 6.12.6.2004 - Made minor graphical/functional changes to a few forms, fixed problem with software startup, removed portions of online check routine.
* 6.11.29.2004 - Added more file I/O tweaks for Windows XP, 2000 and 2003.
* 6.11.22.2004 - Minor graphical changes with main form, fixes problems with registration routines and piracy detection.
* 6.11.15.2004 - Added support for Intel and AMD 64 bit processors.
* 6.11.8.2004 - Modified and enhanced anti-piracy measures within the software.
* 6.11.1.2004 - Fixed another problem with the authenticode signatures, verisign systems were temporarily down causing the timestamp not to be written to the installer file.
* 6.10.25.2004 - Fixed problem where on systems which updated to Windows XP SP 2 the software would crash and terminate unexpectedly.
* 6.10.18.2004 - Fixed authenticode date/time stamp problem on the installer. Also removed compression on main executable as it caused crashes/slowdowns on early versions of windows.
* 6.10.11.2004 - Added new memory optimization tweaks for all versions of Windows.
* 6.10.4.2004 - Modified all urls within software to account for our software affiliate program.
* 6.9.27.2004 - Minor update to address piracy; banned several illegal serials. Also used new version of setup installer which fixed problem with users which did not have administrative rights for their user accounts under NT, 2000, 2003 and XP.
* 6.9.20.2004 - Fixed problem with versions of Windows 95, 98 and Me where devices would be erased from system due to certain tweaks made.
* 6.9.13.2004 - Added more tweaks for all versions of Windows regarding video framerate and video memory utilization.
* 6.9.6.2004 - Fixed problem where on certain versions of Windows the executable when compressed would cause an error and not run. Compression disabled on all future releases.
* 6.8.30.2004 - Fixed problem with game Doom 3, which would cause screen to lag and mouse movement to freeze up.
* 6.8.23.2004 - Fixed problem where software on certain Windows 95, 98 and Me computers be recognized as corrupted and not run at all.
* 6.8.16.2004 - Added secure digital certificate to installation program to confirm to users the download is safe and has not been modified during download.
* 6.8.9.2004 - Used new setup installer as well as compressed exe to be smaller; resulting in more compact distribution for software.
* 6.8.2.2004 - Fixed problem with registry setting which was misspelled thus causing that tweak to have no effect on the system.
* 6.7.26.2004 - Added more tweaks for video memory for Windows XP, 2000 and 2003 users.
* 6.7.19.2004 - Added tweaks for video memory, and fixed problem which caused problems for Windows XP SP 2 users.
* 6.7.12.2004 - Fixed problem with installer which would cause files already on the system not to update when new version was installed. Updated to new version of installer as well.
* 6.7.5.2004 - Added more file access tweaks for Windows XP, 2000 and 2003.
* 6.6.28.2004 - Added new tweaks for file access, read/write/open; which should improve file access times.
* 6.6.21.2004 - Minor update to address anti-piracy: banned several illegal serials.
* 6.6.14.2004 - Added new screen refresh/repaint tweaks, also added cpu priority tweaks for Windows XP, 2000 and 2003.
* 6.6.7.2004 - Made small changes to software to fix problem with low resolution computers, as well as made small changes to license agreement.
* 6.5.31.2004 - Fixed problem with executable compression which would cause software not to run on certain Windows 95 and 98 machines. Also new version of installer used which may fix any installer bugs/problems.
* 6.5.24.2004 - Added new memory tweaks for Windows XP, 2000 and 2003.
* 6.5.17.2004 - Added several new optimizations for Intel processors and Windows XP.
* 6.5.10.2004 - Fixed major problem which did not allow multiple computer users from accessing the software correctly. Also updated installer to force the computer administrator to install the software.
* 6.5.3.2004 - Added new memory optimization tweaks for Windows XP, 2000 and 2003.
* 6.4.26.2004 - Compressed executable down another 50 kb to reduce entire build size of distribution.
* 6.4.19.2004 - Added new memory and file optimization tweaks for Windows XP, 2000, 2003 and 98.
* 6.4.12.2004 - Added several new file I/O tweaks for Windows XP, 2000 and 2003. Added routine to notify of software updates when software becomes expired/old as well.
* 6.4.5.2004 - Updates to anti-piracy measures, updates to registration check which would not function when licenses over 15 copies were issued and updates to the software license agreement.
* 6.3.25.2004 - Made changes to anti-piracy measures within the software.
* 6.3.18.2004 - Updated internal components for GUI - Windows XP theme component.
* 6.3.11.2004 - Administrative release which bans several illegal serial numbers from the software from functioning. Updating of license agreement.
* 6.3.3.2004 - Added more file enhancement tweaks for Windows 2000, XP and 2003.
* 6.2.25.2004 - Added new file reading/loading tweaks for Windows 2000, XP and 2003. Also new installer used to reduce overall distribution size.
* 6.2.17.2004 - Added support for larger font dpi resolution computers, where previously application would not display correctly on any dpi above/below 96 dpi.
* 6.2.10.2004 - Added new tweaks for Windows 2000, XP and 2003, which modifies Windows animation settings on lower end hardware.
* 6.2.2.2004 - Changed pricing, made further changes to the license agreement and some small gui changes.
* 6.1.26.2004 - Made small changes to the gui, also made some changes to the license agreement and help file, and added list of contributors to the software.
* 6.1.19.2004 - Sixth major version of PcMedik released. Major changes to gui, order form and documentation all made.
* 5.1.5.2004 - Added new tweaks for Windows 2003. Fixed problems with registration routine and made minor graphical changes/additions.
* 5.12.29.2003 - More modifications to registration routine to thwart piracy.
* 5.12.21.2003 - Fixed registration routine to thwart piracy.
* 5.12.15.2003 - Fixed major problem where on some Windows machines after using the RESTORE feature Windows would not boot up again without a registry key change.
* 5.12.8.2003 - Added cpu cache tweak for Windows 95 and 98 machines and AMD processors.
* 5.12.1.2003 - Added fix for mouse/touchpad problems with some Toshiba computer/laptops.
* 5.11.24.2003 - Added several file I/O operation routines in for Windows 95 and Windows 98.
* 5.11.17.2003 - Changed compression level of exe to reduce file size/footprint - to make the setup/package smaller in size.
* 5.11.10.2003 - Another fix for the registration routine, problems with Japanese/Chinese characters wouldn't work properly with the serial/name system. Also repackaged with new installer setup package.
* 5.11.3.2003 - Fixed problem which would cause a crash to occur on older model computers with Windows 95/NT and without Internet Explorer 4 or higher installed.
* 5.10.27.2003 - Fixed problems with setup installer displaying incorrect/invalid langauge on machines that were not setup to display English as primary language.
* 5.10.18.2003 - Fixed registration system to block more illegal usage.
* 5.10.14.2003 - Added routines for usb device dectection and troubleshooting, also added usb buffer reading/writing optimization for Windows Me.
* 5.10.8.2003 - Added several settings for display device, fixed problems with lower 256 color and lower displays for Windows 95, 98 and Me.
* 5.10.1.2003 - Fixed another issue with Windows XP and a few registry entries.
* 5.9.28.2003 - Fixed problem with two registry entries not being removed correctly on some systems when RESTORE was used.
* 5.9.25.2003 - Fixed problem with PcMedik and Norton software in regards to legacy 8.3 filenames.
* 5.9.22.2003 - Fixed problem with registration window on closing would crash on some computers.
* 5.9.21.2003 - Fixed problem with Windows Thumbnail preview optimization setting from previous release of PcMedik.
* 5.9.20.2003 - Added optimization for Windows XP/2003 thumbnail previewer. Added optimization feature to prevent missing shortcut long lookups for Windows XP/2003. Added feature for Windows pre-fetcher service for XP, 2003 machines which loads applications/files faster. Added feature to clean up virtual cache on shutdown for Win 98, Me machines. Cleaned up internal code and re-organized portions of code within PcMedik.
* 5.9.12.2003 - Added several routines for Windows 95, 98, Me with memory management. Added file size limits and legacy Windows removal routines within Windows NT, XP, 2000 and 2003.
* 5.9.6.2003 - Changed/optimized code to handle Windows exception errors under Windows 95, 98 and Me.
* 5.9.2.2003 - Changed memory allocation buffers to lower limit.
* 5.8.26.2003 - Fixed problems with gui and lower resolution monitors.
* 5.8.21.2003 - Modified system file buffers to fix error with really large files (> 3 Gb), fixed issue with a Windows Update feature overwritting some settings.
* 5.8.17.2003 - Fixed online check routines and users with dialup connections being constantly prompted to connect.
* 5.8.16.2003 - Fixed problem with cpu priority and Windows 95 machines, added fix for older dos/console applications and added file cache optimizations for Windows XP, 2000 and 2003.

* 5.8.6.2003 - Fixed another bug with the registration system.
* 5.8.4.2003 - Fixed problem within registration routine and math decimal point international issues.

* 5.7.25.2003 - Added several cpu, software and system animation routines for Windows NT, 2000, XP and 2003.

* 5.7.18.2003 - Fixed problems relating to recently Win 2003 support added in.
* 5.7.13.2003 - Added Windows Server 2003 support and configuration routines.
* 5.7.11.2003 - Removed old legacy code and finalized several routines previously added in as testing code.
* 5.7.7.2003 - Fixed major problem where display device would set back to PCI VGA mode and not allowing it to change back. Now has been fixed.
* 5.7.4.2003 - Minor graphical changes, icons, text, screens.
* 5.7.2.2003 - Minor graphical changes, such as mainicon and aboutscreen image.
* 5.6.30.2003 - Added system enhancements for Windows 95, 98 and Me.
* 5.6.24.2003 - Added system enhancements for Windows XP.
* 5.6.18.2003 - Fixed problem where on rare occasions a list out of bounds (-1) error would occur.
* 5.6.12.2003 - Added memory optimization routine for Windows 95/98/Me. Also added routine to disable NET SEND commands on Windows NT/2000/XP which stops marketers from showing popups on your computer.
* 5.6.6.2003 - Mostly cosmetic changes to the interface of Throttle.
* 5.6.3.2003 - Fixed problem with log file growing too large and eventually causing PcMedik not to function.
* 5.5.24.2003 - Added new routine for Windows XP which enhances registry access speed.
* 5.5.16.2003 - Added several new optimization routines for Windows 95, 98, Me.
* 5.5.10.2003 - Fixed problem on lower spec computers where on startup of PcMedik an error 'Buffer overflow would occur'.
* 5.5.1.2003 - Recompiled and removed exe compression.
* 5.4.27.2003 - More changes to MaxFileCache settings made. Should be completely correct now.
* 5.4.22.2003 - Major fix added for File Cache settings, previous values were completely incorrect and have now been fixed.
* 5.4.20.2003 - Removed some old legacy code from previous versions of PcMedik. Fixed gui bug which occurred on lower resolution monitors. Also added several new optimization routines in for Windows XP and Windows 2000.
* 5.4.16.2003 - Small fix to decrease distribution file size, as well as add compression.
* 5.4.8.2003 - Fifth major version of PcMedik released. Major changes to gui as well as core engine of PcMedik rewritten from the ground up. Added numerous new enhancements for Windows 2000/XP.
* 4.3.27.2003 - Final version of PcMedik 4. Finalizes all bugs and error fixes. PcMedik 5 soon to be out!
* 4.3.19.2003 - Fixed minor typo within help file from last release.
* 4.3.13.2003 - Small changes to the registration routine.
* 4.2.25.2003 - Interm upgrade. Added several banned users into copy protection.
* 4.1.10.2003 - Modifications to registration system to fix problems with older keyfiles.

* 4.10.25.2002 - Using new installer, added Mutex to register PcMedik into Windows to prevent install & uninstall without closing previous version if opened.
* 4.10.21.2002 - Added more routines for Windows 2000 and XP users. Also addresses small icon cache problem occuring on Win 9x machines.
* 4.10.10.2002 - Added additional system enhancement
routines.
* 4.10.5.2002 - Minor GUI enhancement/fix.
* 4.9.27.2002 - Fourth major version of PcMedik released. Numerous new enhancments added in for Windows 95/98/ME. Also added twice as many enhancments in for Windows NT/2000/XP. Added more crash protection as well as logging/reporting procedures in. Set autoreboot mode on incase a crash does occur. New memory management routines added in to control crash/system performance issue bugs. Rewrote core code to better support Windows XP Home and Professional gui.
* 3.9.2.2002 - Added approx. 10 more system enhancing routines which cover all versions of Windows. Changed exe compression for PcMedik to run slightly faster.
* 3.8.5.2002 - Re-addressed KERNEL32.DLL issues which appear when ZoneAlarm Pro 3 is installed.
* 3.7.4.2002 - Changed distribution over to RegSoft. Updated all documentation and files to reflect new distribution partner.
* 3.4.10.2002 - Added new system routines for Windows NT/2000 and Xp computers.
* 3.3.17.2002 - Fixed XP style compatibility issues and fixed the 'PCMEDIK.EXE has caused an illegal page fault in module KERNEL32.DLL' error message that appeared on computers which had ZoneLab's product ZoneAlarm installed.
* 3.3.8.2002 - Fixed problems where scanner would not close on some computers if an error was encountered.
* 3.2.24.2002 - Fixed 'access violation' bug which occurred on some computers due to the new scanner feature added into version 3.
* 3.2.22.2002 - Third major version of PcMedik released. Hundreds of new modifications added into this new version, as well as windows reboot problems once again fixed. New system analyzer added into PcMedik to query devices and software and make modifications as appropriate. Updates to helpfile which address the many changes PcMedik is making to the computer, added in.
* 2.2.17.2002 - Fixed vcache settings for machines with large quantities of RAM/Memory. Also added in new settings for Windows 95/98/Me computers and a new setting for Windows XP machines.
* 2.2.6.2002 - Added several new Windows settings and fixed small bugs.
* 2.1.4.2002 - Fixed internal bugs and added Office menu controls in.
* 2.12.1.2001 - Fixed registry bug and typo within the help file, also fixed reboot bug within Win 32 systems.
* 2.11.25.2001 - Fixed small bug where Operating System choice was not saved into registry.
* 2.11.22.2001 - Changed all of the internal icons to Windows XP and multi-resolution compatible.
* 2.11.18.2001 - Second major version of PcMedik released. Major improvements to the internal core and GUI of PcMedik have been made. Fixed bug with Windows not rebooting under Windows NT/2000/XP. Also added new performance routines for Windows NT/2000/XP.
* 1.9.20.2001 - Fixed small bug with dlls, also added new system performance routines for Windows NT/2000/XP.
* 1.8.20.2001 - Fixed small bug where application would crash on exit sometimes.
* 1.8.19.2001 - Original public release of PcMedik.
